Bob Lyon, portfolio manager for the AGF Canadian Resources Fund, the AGF Global Resources Class and the AGF Precious Metals Fund, took your questions online at noon (ET) on Friday, November 6th. The discussion appears below.

Mr. Lyon leads all of AGF’s resource-focused portfolios. Working closely with the AGF research teams, he combines a global top-down view with detailed bottom-up analysis.

Mr. Lyon is a portfolio manager with over 20 years of investment industry experience. He has been the lead manager on resource-related mutual funds for two major Canadian mutual fund companies. Mr. Lyon’s most recent role was vice-president and director of proprietary trading at a large Canadian investment company. Prior to his portfolio management experience, he held several analytical roles researching the oil and gas, base metal and precious metal sectors.

Mr. Lyon graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
