Enbridge shines amid the carnage

VANCOUVER — Here's a forecast for 2009 that will bring tears to the eyes – tears of joy, not constant, unrelenting pain: Profits and dividend are both up more than 10 per cent. The company? Enbridge Inc., owner of the world's longest oil pipeline system, still full of black crude heading for the United States, even as the price of the commodity has collapsed.
