Arctic treasure hunt puts chill on diplomacy

SKOGFOSS, NORWAY — In the grey Arctic landscape that separates Norway from Russia, Sergeant Henrik Molmann and his fellow soldiers are doing their best to stay on good terms with the men across the border as tensions over the treasure under the Arctic ice unfold. Local football teams travel across the border for friendly games, and when troops from the two sides engage in joint exercises, they follow them up with long joint lunches.
