Dodge stares down the dollar speculators

Speculators have heaped a lot of adulation on Canada lately. Yesterday, we were reminded just how fickle their affections can be.On a day when investors around the world were shedding risky, overbought positions on several fronts, the speculators' passionate affair with the Canadian dollar suddenly looked more like a remorse-filled tryst, with one of the participants slinking out the door in the middle of the night.
