Flaherty says pleased to see C$ lower

23/11/07

OSHAWA, Ontario (Reuters) - Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Friday he was pleased to see the Canadian dollar back at what he called a more reasonable range after a spell where it rose as high as US$1.10.

Flaherty also told the Oshawa Chamber of Commerce that currency markets would determine the value of the Canadian dollar. The dollar was worth $1.01 early on Friday.
