ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Performance Technologies (Nasdaq: PTIX), a leading developer of communication platforms and systems, today announced that Bakcell Limited, a leading GSM and WiMax operator in Baku, Azerbaijan, has brought into service the company's SEGway(TM) STP Signalling Solution to assist in the rapid delivery of advanced mobile service offerings to its customers in Azerbaijan.
Bakcell is currently experiencing a period of rapid growth following recent network investments and expansion in its network coverage and capacity. Bakcell is committed to providing the best nationwide coverage in Azerbaijan and become the country's mobile operator of choice.
