WASHINGTON, May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- This week, the House Armed Services Committee will vote on legislation that will have a direct economic impact on the state of North Carolina. The committee, which includes North Carolina Representatives Mike McIntyre, Walter Jones and Robin Hayes among its members, will consider funding for the KC-45, the U.S. Air Force's next generation aerial refueling tanker.

Suppliers in North Carolina that will participate in the development of the Northrop Grumman KC-45 include AAR Cargo in Goldsboro, Allvac in Monroe, Cincinnati Thermal Spray in Rocky Point, GE Assembly Shop in Durham, GE Disks Shop in Wilmington and Goodrich Corp. in Charlotte.
