22:54 EST Monday, January 14, 2008

JESSUP, Md., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Spectrum Water Coolers has been named 2007 Dealer of the Year by Water Technology(R) Magazine and by Innowave, a WaterLogic USA Group Company.

Water Technology(R) Magazine annually recognizes excellence among water dealerships and this year named Spectrum Water Coolers "2007 Dealer of the Year" for outstanding performance and presence in the water industry. In addition, Innowave/WaterLogic USA, the worldwide leader in water cooler manufacturing, named Spectrum "Dealer of the Year" for its unsurpassed national sales and service performance.

"It is a significant honor to have been named Dealer of the Year by two organizations at the forefront of our industry," said Jeff Doughty, founder and CEO of Spectrum Water Coolers. "Spectrum is growing extremely fast, and we look forward to another exciting year in 2008. This recognition is a vote of confidence that we are headed in the right direction."

Spectrum provides an environmentally friendly alternative to bottled drinking water to offices throughout the United States. The service is also half the cost of bottled water, uses 65% less energy than typical water coolers and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 98%.

"As large and small companies move away from consuming bottled water for environmental, cost and health reasons, they look to Spectrum as the nationwide alternative," added Doughty.

In 2007, Spectrum installed nearly six thousand water coolers as part of the largest national POU water cooler contract in the industry's history.

Spectrum, The Green Solution for Offices Nationally

In 2008, Spectrum will be introducing new state-of-the-art water cooler options. These environmentally friendly additions, coupled with a variety of ecologically-minded products and services will usher in a new era of environmental corporate responsibility.

"Progressive offices have always sought amenity-based programs to enhance employee productivity and morale. Today, they are asking for programs that also address environmental concerns," Doughty said.

Spectrum provides nationwide service coverage to its diverse group of Fortune 500 customers in 49 U.S. states and eight of the largest cities in Canada. For more information, please visit www.SpectrumWaterCoolers.com.
