Provinces urge Dodge not to hike rates
MEECH LAKE, QUE., TORONTO -- Ontario led the charge for the provinces yesterday in pressing Bank of Canada Governor David Dodge not to raise interest rates, at an Ottawa-area meeting of finance ministers from across the country.
