TORONTO, Nov. 4 /CNW/ - Torontonians tired of Canada's cold, grey fall days can enjoy a much needed burst of sunshine today, November 4, 2009, as The Orlando / Orange County Convention & Visitor's Bureau (Orlando CVB) takes over Union Station and Dundas Square, bringing a bundle of free smiles to the city. The special event is the culmination of a year-long Canadian campaign supporting Orlando's new brand positioning, "Orlando Makes Me Smile."
The Orlando CVB is inviting Torontonians to enjoy "Random Smile Acts", with free subway tokens, chair massages, miniature golf and more, all courtesy of sunny Orlando, Florida. Torontonians who stop by Dundas Square and Union Station during the event will also receive the chance to win one of eight free trips for four to the popular destination this winter.
Canada is poised to become the top international market for Orlando, and in celebration, the destination recently launched a series of "Made for Canadians" offers, available at www.VisitOrlando.com/Canada. This exceptional collection of more than 70 great deals allows Canadians the freedom to create a fun-filled winter vacation that won't break the bank.
Throughout the month of November, "Orlando Makes Me Smile" artwork will brighten up the interior of Union Station, bringing additional cheer to the busy public transport artery.
