VANCOUVER, March 11 /CNW/ - Vancouver-based Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA), the world's largest industrial auctioneer, will conduct back-to-back unreserved public auctions in Surrey and Langley this week. On Thursday, March 13, Ritchie Bros. will sell almost 1,600 used and unused transportation, construction and other industrial equipment items during an unreserved public auction at its permanent auction site in Surrey. Among the equipment being sold to the highest bidders on auction day: almost 100 truck tractors, including a 2008 Peterbilt 386 T/A; 10 dump trucks, including three 2006 Kenworth T800B T/A; and a large selection of wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, crawler tractors and hydraulic excavators.
On Friday, March 14, Ritchie Bros. will conduct an unreserved public auction at the Used Equipment branch of Leavitt Machinery in Langley, selling more than 100 equipment items, including forklifts, electric forklifts, rough terrain forklifts, scissorlifts, boom lifts and telescopic forklifts. Both auctions will be unreserved, meaning there are no minimum bids or reserve prices. Every item will be sold to the highest bidder on auction day. The auctions are open to the public. Registration is free.
