TORONTO, Dec. 6 /CNW/ - Whitecastle Private Equity Partners Fund LP, one of Canada's leading private equity funds, has announced that David Reese has joined the firm as Vice President.

David has ten years experience in strategy consulting, large-scale business transformation, turnarounds and operational improvements. Prior to joining Whitecastle, David spent several years working in Australia and South Africa with a boutique consulting firm specializing in business turnarounds and performance improvement for multi-national, industrial clients. In this role, David partnered with management teams to identify, prioritize and execute high impact, sustainable improvement initiatives that would add to the bottom line. Considerable time was also invested in building sustainable, high-performing organizations by revamping planning, management and performance measurement systems, implementing mini-business teams, and coaching management.
David also spent several years at a leading telecommunications firm driving major transformation programs and operational improvement initiatives across a multi-billion dollar product portfolio. Prior to this, David spent five years in the strategy consulting industry with the Boston Consulting Group and the Mitchell Madison Group where he served clients across a wide variety of industries focused on strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, cost reduction and operational improvements.
David was awarded a Ph.D. (Industrial and Systems Engineering) and a B.A.Sc. with honours (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Toronto.
