Partial proceeds from ticket sales from the tour will benefit local literacy groups in Canadian communities. As exclusive sponsor of the Raise-a-Reader Concert Series, Country Inns and Suites By CarlsonSM will provide additional funding dedicated to raising awareness of literacy across Canada year round.
Blue Rodeo released their first album, Outskirts, in March 1987 and over the course of their incredible 25-year-career has released 12 studio albums, two live albums, a greatest hits collection and an award-winning DVD. Blue Rodeo is touring to promote their new double album, The Things We Left Behind, and partial proceeds of their concert tickets sales in the following Canadian cities will be donated to Canwest Raise-a-Reader: Victoria, Vancouver, Kamloops, Calgary, Edmonton, Banff, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Sault Ste.
