Fortune 1000 Group Hires Chief Financial Officer

QUEBEC, Feb. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - Fortune 1000 Group Inc. (Fortune 1000 Group) (TSX Venture Exchange: FRT) is proud to welcome Marc Lalancette (CA) as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Lalancette has vast experience notably in the financial sector. He has held positions dealing with operations and business development in several large companies. He was Executive vice-President at Stone Vogue International Inc. from 2000 to 2004 and Vice-President of Soccrent from 1987 to 1999. Marc Lalancette also has solid training in accounting, which he further developed while working in accounting firms for almost ten years.

At Fortune 1000 Group, Marc Lalancette will work under the supervision of the CEO and company president. He will be responsible for maintaining the quality of financial information, developing and applying financial control tools as well as evaluating companies for potential acquisition. He will be involved in developing financing strategies and in business plan preparation. Mr. Lalancette will also assist in ensuring the proper communication of financial information to investment institutions.
