RSA Security's BSAFE(R) encryption software allows Bluefire to offer government-validated encryption capabilities across its product line including the only commercially available virtual private network (VPN) designed specifically for mobile devices with FIPS 140-2 Level 1 encryption. FIPS certification is required for processing and storing sensitive government data and is also used as a standard by many commercial enterprises.
