Will the flood of money sink income trusts?
There's a great deal of market theory to support the idea that buying a basket of securities is less risky than buying just one or two. Acceptance of such theories has helped make funds of income trusts hot properties of late. Established, successful incumbents such as the closed-end Citadel group have found all sorts of imitators. All good, until one starts to wonder just where all this new money is going, and what it might be doing to the market.
