Plutonic appoints Fontaine to board of directors

Phil Fontaine, former national chief of the Assembly of First Nations, has joined his first corporate board of directors with Plutonic Power Corp., an upstart Vancouver hydropower developer. It follows his recent appointment as a special adviser to Royal Bank of Canada. In B.C., Plutonic and partner General Electric Co. are building a hydropower project, buying a wind power development and have proposed a massive hydropower development. Plutonic yesterday also appointed Toronto Hydro Corp. CEO David O'Brien to its board. PCC (TSX) rose 2 cents to $3.42.
