Inter Pipeline to expand Bow River system

CP

Inter Pipeline Fund IPL.UN-T is investing $72-million to expand oil delivery capabilities on the Bow River pipeline system, enabling shipment of segregated crude oil streams south from Hardisty, Alta., to refineries in Montana. Inter Pipeline said yesterday that it has commitments from producers to ship 30,000 barrels per day from Hardisty under a seven-year take-or-pay contract. The Bow River system gathers oil produced in southern Alberta for delivery north to the Hardisty storage hub and south to export lines near the Montana border. IPL.UN-T lost 1 cent to $7.59.
