BRAMPTON, ON, Nov. 9 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, November 9, 2005, just before 8:00 a.m., an 18-year-old student of Chinguacousy Secondary School was shot, while sitting in his vehicle, in the parking lot of the school. The victim was able to attend the school office to get help. He was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. An 18-year-old male passenger in the vehicle escaped uninjured.
Police do not believe this was a random attack. Investigators are looking for one suspect, who is described as male, black, 18 years-of-age, 5'8" tall. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. The suspect was last seen fleeing in a north easterly direction on foot.
