BRAMPTON, ONTARIO--During the month of February artist Carol Biberstein and her student Grace Heron display their works of art at City Hall.
Meditation has been a driving force in the life of artist Carol Biberstein in the last six months. "Meditation has made me a happier, more peaceful and accepting person", says Carol. Her study of Raj yoga is reflected in her new work. Her paintings are happy, peaceful, elegant and soothing, something of an elixir during these fast paced and often troubled times.
Carol is an experienced artist /illustrator and teacher of drawing and watercolour and her paintings will leave you looking at life in a new and different perspective. She has held solo shows, wrote and illustrated a full colour picture book for children, book covers, work for Pharma Plus and much more.
Grace Heron has been a student of Carol's for about four years now. She is a mouth painter who took up her craft after a car accident left her a quadriplegic. She handles her medium with great skill and mastery and paints a wide variety of subject matter.
Her subject matter is playful, bright and cheerful and is sure to make you smile. Grace is a member of the Mouth and Foot Painter's Association.
Take time out to come and enjoy these wonderful pieces by these very talented artists. If you would like to meet either of these artists they will be at City Hall on Wednesday, February 4, between 12 noon and 2 p.m.
