District Attorney Exonerates Krave Nightclub -- Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (Business Wire) -- The Clark County District Attorney has exonerated Krave Nightclub and its security from any criminal charges related to the Nov. 14, 2004, death of Peter James Lawrence. Late that evening, Lawrence had caused an altercation outside the club and died shortly after being restrained by security, while waiting for police to arrive. Lawrence was seeking out an ex-girlfriend in violation of a court restraining order and a subsequent coroner's autopsy indicated high levels of drugs and alcohol in his system.

Said Krave Nightclub owner Sia Amiri, "Detective Barry Jensen contacted us today to say there is insufficient evidence of any wrongdoing by anyone at Krave in the unfortunate death of Mr. Lawrence." Amiri added, "After reviewing information provided to the police, Krave has been exonerated from any criminal charges."

Located at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Harmon, Krave is the only gay/alternative nightclub located on the Las Vegas Strip.
