RTI Lands EADS/Airbus Supply Contract in Europe

NILES, Ohio (Business Wire) -- RTI International Metals, Inc., (NYSE:RTI) announced today that through its European subsidiary, RTI Europe Ltd., it has reached agreement with Europe's largest aerospace group, European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company ("EADS"), to supply value-added titanium products and services through 2008.

The products will support the production of the highly successful Airbus family of civil aircraft, including the newest and largest commercial airplane in production, the A380, as well as EADS military programs. The contract increases RTI's long-term involvement in these programs, as the largest U.S. titanium supplier. In addition to titanium mill products, RTI will supply cut-to-size, machined and water-jet cut parts direct to EADS and Airbus manufacturing plants in France, Germany, Spain, and the UK from its processing facilities in Europe.
