announced today that Home Depot stores throughout Canada will begin to carry Perfectly Natural(TM), the first line of environmentally friendly lawn and garden care products as well as utilize them on selected properties. Made entirely of food- and feed-grade ingredients, Perfectly Natural fertilizers and related products create lush lawns and gardens without the environmental and health risks of chemical-based and organic products.

The agreement to carry and use Perfectly Natural builds on Home Depot's record of environmental sensitivity, which can be seen in initiatives such as its wood-purchasing policy, designed to help protect forests.

Perfectly Natural creates vibrant, healthy lawns and gardens using clean ingredients that nurture the garden's soil, creating an environment in which weeds simply cannot thrive. In addition, children and pets can safely play on lawns treated with Perfectly Natural immediately after its application, and gardeners do not have to wear protective gloves or be concerned about runoff into sources of drinking water.
