TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 9, 2004) - Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. (TSX:PAE) (AMEX:PAE), a diversified Canadian entertainment company, today announced that the documentary "Prisoners of Age" will have its world premiere at the Whistler Film Festival, December 2-5 in Whistler, British Columbia. The film was produced by Peace Arch's factual subsidiary, The Eyes Project Development Corp., in association with CBC Newsworld.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Stan Feingold, "Prisoners of Age" explores photographer Ron Levine's groundbreaking work with geriatric convicts. The men in Levine's extraordinary images may look like uncles and grandfathers, but most are murderers and sex criminals serving life sentences. Levine's consummate skill as photographer evokes empathy for the inmates' plight, but his images raise more disturbing questions: what about the justice demanded by the inmates' victims, their families and society at large? Do we try to rehabilitate these elderly men, or do we lock them up and throw away the key? With Levine as narrator and gateway to the prisoners, the film rides the line between these conflicting points of view.

"Prisoners of Age" will have its television premiere on CBC Newsworld's Rough Cuts documentary series. The film will be shown on Saturday, December 4th at 10pm and 1am ET (7pm and 10pm PT).
