    PORT ORCHARD, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 2004--Label executives announced today the grand opening of Legend Heart Records, a new independent record label that has been hard at work preparing for its self-titled debut release on Valentines Day 2004.
    What makes the new label unique is that the label is also its own flagship band. This accomplishment sets a precedent in the music industry, making Legend Heart Records and Legend Heart the band the world's first self-discovered independent label and rock band. Legend Heart plans to bring back the great sound and spirit of Classic Rock, through new original music that blends classical instrumentation with classic progressive rock rhythms.
    Legend Heart Records also has a unique focus; charities that center their efforts around advancing women-owned enterprises and helping homeless women, children, and teens by donating 50% of net proceeds from every CD sale for as long as they are making music. There will always be two (2) featured charity spots per CD release; the Society for the Empowerment of Women and designated charities focused on issues related to the advancement of women-owned enterprises and health, as well as aid against homelessness and hunger involving Women, Children, and Teens.
