Neil Petroff, Executive Vice-President, Investments and Chief Investment Officer of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Teachers’), is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Musicco to Vice-President, Teachers’ Private Capital. Ms. Musicco reports to Jane Rowe, Senior Vice-President of Teachers’ Private Capital.

Nicole Musicco leads the global fund program at Teachers’ Private Capital, overseeing externally managed private equity fund positions and emerging markets co-investment and co-underwriting activities. Ms. Musicco brings to the position a strong private equity background with experience in both direct and fund investing. She joined Teachers’ in 2002 as an investment analyst and assumed positions of increasing responsibility before being made Director of Funds in 2011. Ms. Musicco came to Teachers’ from Citigroup (formerly Salomon Smith Barney).

Ms. Musicco earned an MBA and an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

With $117.1 billion in net assets as at December 31, 2011, Teachers’ is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada. An independent organization, it invests the pension fund’s assets and administers the pensions of 300,000 active and retired Ontario teachers.
