Derek Oland, Executive Chairman of Moosehead Breweries Limited, announces the election of three new directors to the Company's Board.
Bruce McCubbin is Moosehead's Chief Executive Officer. He joined the firm as President and Chief Operating Officer in 1997 after serving nine years as President and Chief Operating Officer of a privately-held Canadian conglomerate involved in the manufacture and sale of various retail and industrial products throughout North America. Prior to that, Mr. McCubbin held various senior positions with Imasco Ltd., in both the United States and Canada. Mr. McCubbin is a Regent at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick and is Chairman of Mt. A's Executive Committee.
Moosehead, one of Canada's most celebrated brewers, traces its roots to 1867. It is the country's third-largest brewer by production volume and is the last major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established.
