Atlantic Power’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Barry Welch, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Matovich to the position of Senior Vice-President, Commercial, Canada. Mr. Matovich’s responsibilities include business development, commercial activities and government relations.

Mr. Matovich has over 20 years of experience in working with both governments and public companies in the electricity and other industrial sectors. Most recently, Mr. Matovich was a Managing Director of Kensington Capital Partners Limited, a Toronto-based investment firm. Prior to this, Mr. Matovich was a Managing Director and Industry Head for the Power and Infrastructure Group of Scotia Capital, a division of Scotiabank.
