BMO Capital Markets is pleased to announce the appointment of Mathieu L. L'Allier as Managing Director and Head, Investment & Corporate Banking, Quebec.

Mr. L'Allier joined BMO Capital Markets in 1997, in Toronto, in the mergers & acquisitions and, subsequently, communications & technology groups within Investment & Corporate Banking. He joined the Montreal office in 2000, where he served as lead advisor to a diverse set of Quebec-based clients with respect to a broad range of financing and advisory assignments.

Mr. L'Allier is a member of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, and is active with organizations such as Tennis Canada, McGill University and United Way.

Mr. L'Allier holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University, studied International Business at the Solvay Business School in Belgium, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
