Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenda Hummel to the position of Senior Vice-President Banking Operations. Banking Operations, a division within Systems and Operations, is integral to the delivery of technological products and services to all areas of the Bank. In her new position, Ms. Hummel will be responsible for establishing operational strategies that help the Bank meet and exceed its product sales and customer service objectives.

Ms. Hummel brings more than 20 years experience in Domestic Banking Services to her new position. Since joining Scotiabank in 1973, Ms. Hummel has assumed increasing responsibilities in the area of Human Resources and Branch Management. Ms. Hummel has also dedicated time to such fundraising and volunteer organizations as the Heart and Stroke Foundation and St. Michaelís Hospital.
