Mr. Eric R. La Flèche, President and Chief Executive Officer, Metro Inc., is pleased to announce the following appointment:
Marc Giroux is appointed Vice-President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. Since joining in 2009, Marc has led both the marketing and loyalty functions, which included the successful launch of the metro&moi loyalty program. In addition to his current role, he will now be responsible for corporate affairs, communications and the management of Metro’s interest in dunnhumby Canada, a joint venture supporting the development and implementation of customercentric strategies. He holds an MBA in Marketing and a B.A.A. in Finance and International Commerce from HEC Montréal.
