The partners of Heenan Blaikie are pleased to announce that William E.J. Skelly and John R. Sandrelli have joined the firm to form the financial services group of the Vancouver office.
William E.J. Skelly practices corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on corporate financing, commercial banking, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, debt and corporate restructuring, and entertainment financing. Bill has extensive experience in structuring and completing numerous national and international financing transactions, acting for both lending institutions and borrowers.
John R. Sandrelli has joined Heenan Blaikie after practicing in Toronto for several years. John practices in the area of commercial insolvency and restructuring, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. John has extensive experience with restructurings under both the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the United States Bankruptcy Code. John regularly acts for companies in need of restructuring as well as for trustees, receivers, financial institutions and other commercial lenders.
