The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) is pleased to announce its 2009 President, Gerrie Doyle, OAA, MRAIC. Ms. Doyle was elected to OAA Council in 2007 and served as Vice-President, Practice, in 2008 she was Senior Vice-President and Treasurer.

Ms. Doyle has also served on the Strategic Opportunities Committee (ORC), Alternative Financing and Procurement Task Group, OAA Building Committee, Practice Bulletin Review Task Group, EABO Committee and acted as Chair of the Practice Committee, Fees and Services Task Group, Continuing Education Committee and Conference Committee. She was a Board Member of the Pro-Demnity Insurance Company (2008).

Ms. Doyle is a principal of aipm architects inc., Toronto, Ontario.

She received her Diploma of Architecture from the Institute of Technology, Dublin, Ireland in 1982 and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.

The Ontario Association of Architects is a self-regulating, self-governing profession under the Architects Act. The Association governs its members and regulates the practice of architecture in Ontario in order that the public interest may be served and protected. As part of its regulatory mandate, the Association delivers a wide range of programs and services to its members and the public.
