John Dielwart, President and CEO of ARC Resources Management Ltd., manager of ARC Energy Trust, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Carey to the position of Vice President Business Development. In this new role, David will have responsibility for ARC’s business development activities, including long-term planning, acquisitions, and investor relations. This appointment reflects ARC’s commitment to maintaining its track record of growth through strategic acquisitions.

David has over twenty years of diverse experience in the Canadian and International energy industries covering exploration, production and project development in Western Canada, the Canadian frontiers, and international. David has extensive royalty trust experience having been a member of the management team of Athabasca Oil Sands Trust since inception, most recently as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

David holds both an Honours B.Sc. in Geological Engineering and an MBA from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.
