Jacques Lamarre, President and CEO, SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. is pleased to announce the appointments of Marylynne Campbell and Pierre Duhaime to the position of Executive Vice-President, the SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. and as new members of the Office of the President.

Marylynne Campbellís responsibilities include the Infrastructure, Environmental and Industrial business and administrative units located in Toronto and Sarnia, Ontario, as well as the new Pittsburgh office of SNC-Lavalin America. In addition, she maintains her Corporate Human Resources responsibilities.

Ms. Campbell brings many years of engineering management experience to her position. She began her career with James F. MacLaren Ltd. in Toronto. In the succeeding years, she assumed progressive responsibilities culminating in her appointment as Senior Vice-President and General Manager of SNC-Lavalinís Ontario operations in 1993. In 1997, she was appointed Senior Vice-President, Corporate Human Resources.

Pierre Duhaime is responsible for all SNC-Lavalinís Mining and Metallurgy activities worldwide.

Prior to joining Lavalin in 1989 as a project manager, he held various operationsí and project management responsibilities in the Mining and Metallurgy sector over a period of nearly a decade. Since the early 1990s, he has assumed positions at SNC-Lavalin, including Director of Technology, Vice-President, Projects and Technology and of Planning and Development, and Senior Vice-President and General Manager of SNC-Lavalinís Industrial Division. In 2001, he moved to Toronto to take on his current, global responsibilities for the M & M Division.

Mr. Duhaime holds a B.Eng., Metallurgy degree from the Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, and an MBA in Production/Finance from HEC Montrťal.
