Darren Entwistle, President and CEO of TELUS Corporation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Bowles as Executive Vice President, Communications. Ms. Bowles brings considerable experience in all areas of communications on a local and national basis.

Patricia will be responsible for all external and internal communications for the company, TELUS's brand and reputation, event marketing and sponsorships, and community affairs.

Ms. Bowles has extensive experience in public relations, public affairs, marketing and government relations. She has worked in book publishsing and promotional functions; as a Senior Vice President of a major advertising agency and Managing Director of a communications division; in corporate communications and marketing positions within two of Canada's largest companies; several years in political positions; and over the span of her career, chaired two major non-profit foundations in the healthcare field. Most recently, she was Senior Council and General Manager for the B.C. division of a major international consulting firm.
