Michael Novak, Executive Vice-President of SNC-Lavalin Inc., and President of SNC-Lavalin International Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Christiane Bergevin as President of SNC-Lavalin Capital Inc.
Building on her former role as Senior Vice-President and General Manager of SNC-Lavalin Capital, Ms. Bergevin will be responsible for the continued growth and development of SNC-Lavalin Capital in Canada and internationally. Under her leadership, SNC-Lavalin Capital has grown into a dedicated group of 18 professionals that offers extensive and innovative financing solutions to clients worldwide.
Ms. Bergevin has extensive domestic and international financing experience. She has contributed to, among other projects, the acquisition financing of Highway 407 in Toronto. She began her career with The Standard Life Assurance Company, then joined the Export Development Corporation where she led several groundbreaking governmental and private financings in Africa and Europe, before joining SNC-Lavalin in 1990. She is a graduate of McGill University.
