Heenan Blaikie is pleased to announce that Jeff Barnes has joined its Toronto office as a Partner in the Business Law Group.

Jeff joins Heenan Blaikie with an exceptional track record in leadership and a distinguished career acting for many of North America's major investment banks and multinational corporations.

Jeff is well-recognized as one of Canada's leading mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, project finance, corporate governance and securities law experts. He is recognized as such in international legal directories including Chambers Global The World's Leading Lawyers; Euromoney and International Financial Law Review Guides to the World's Leading Lawyers; the Law Business Research International Who's Who series; Lexpert/American Lawyer Media Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada; as well as being recognized in Lexpert's 100 best cross-border lawyers and Canada's top 30 corporate dealmakers.
