Noel Walpole, President and Chief Executive Officer of Economical Mutual Insurance Company and Waterloo Insurance Company, is pleased to announce the following appointments:
Jorge Arruda, B.Comm., to the position of Claims Manager for Canada.
Jorge joined Economical's Claims Department in 1995. Having worked in this field for 12 years, he brings considerable skills to his new position - in particular, extensive claims management expertise.
Tom Reikman, B.Sc., MBA, A.I.I.C., to the position of Vice President, Marketing.
Tom joined Economical in 1995 as Director - Group Insurance, Market Research and Communications. In his new position, Tom will be responsible for all aspects of marketing including market and consumer research, product development, electronic data interface, internal and external communications, advertising, public relations, broker services and broker training and development for Economical Mutual Insurance. Tom will continue to be responsible for Waterloo Insurance and marketing the company's Group Insurance product.
Bill Stinson, B.Math, F.L.M.I., to the position of Vice President, Information Systems.
Bill joined Economical's Systems Development Group in 1985 and was, most recently, Director, Systems Development. In his new position, Bill will be responsible for leading all aspects of systems development activities for The Economical Insurance Group.
