Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas Stewart to the newly created position of Senior Vice-President, Regional Office, South Asian Sub-Continent. Mr. Stewart will be responsible for business development initiatives throughout India and the Indian sub-continent. He will also evaluate the potential for expansion in other countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Throughout his 29-year career with Scotiabank, Mr. Stewart has been closely associated with the Bank's international operations. His experience includes positions in the Philippines, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and the Carib- bean. Most recently, he was Senior Vice-President, Caribbean, International Banking.
