Michael Novak, Executive Vice-President of SNC-Lavalin Group and President of SNC Lavalin International, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lloyd Girman to the new position of Senior Vice-President, Strategic Initiatives. He will continue to be based at the company's offices in Winnipeg.
As a member of the SNC-Lavalin management team, Mr. Girman will work closely with all the company's product divisions to maintain and enhance the company's leadership position in developing innovative products and services, with special focus on infrastructure and natural resources projects in Canada.
Mr. Girman retains responsibility for the SNC-Lavalin's Aboriginal and Northern Affairs business unit and will continue to expand the partnerships the company has developed in this important market.
With more than 25 years' experience in the public and private sectors, Mr. Girman has served as Deputy Minister of Northern Affairs for Manitoba, has worked extensively with the Government of Ontario and has held senior positions in the federal government. In the private sector, he has completed consulting assignments with a number of important clients across Canada.
