Jacques Lamarre, President and Chief Executive Officer of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Taro Alepian as President and Chief Executive Officer of ProFac Facilities Management Services Inc., and of NEXACOR Realty Management Inc. Mr. Alepian will continue as Executive Vice-President of SNC-Lavalin and as a member of the Office of the President, with ongoing corporate responsibilities for SNC-Lavalin Capital and SNC-Lavalin Equity.
The appointment of this accomplished senior executive attests to the strategic importance for SNC-Lavalin of the fast-growing facilities management business. During his 26 year career with SNC-Lavalin, Mr. Alepian has led numerous Canadian and international operating divisions and subsidiaries.
ProFac is the largest Canadian provider of the full range of facility, property and infrastructure management services. Its acquisition of NEXACOR earlier this year allowed it to expand into the telecommunications and utilities sectors. ProFac and its subsidiaries employ approximately 1,100 professional managers, engineers, technicians and support staff, and have annual revenues of more than $400 million.
