Hugh D. Segal
Jacques Lamarre, President and Chief Executive officer of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Hugh D. Segal to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Segal is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP), Canada's oldest, non-partisan, bilingual think tank. He has held a number of senior positions in both the public and private sectors. Including Associate Secretary of Cabinet for federal-provincial relations in Ontario, Chief of Staff for the Prime Minister of Canada, Chairman of the TACT Group of Companies, and Associate with the Toronto Investment firm Glushkin Sheff and Associates Inc.
Mr. Segal is a Senior Fellow at the School of Policy Studies and Adjunct Professor of public policy at the School of Business at Queen's University, in Kingston, Ontario. He is a Director of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research and the Atlantic Council of Canada, and serves on various corporate boards.
