HOW TO ENTER:
1. Enter online on globeinvestor.com.
2. Only one online entry per e-mail address, per person, per week will be accepted, excluding bonus entries outlined in rule#3. Individuals must have a valid E-mail address to enter.
3. Entrants may enter once per week, starting noon EDT, June 12, 2000 and ending at 11:59 p.m. EDT August 13, 2000 (for a total of 9 (nine) entries) and must correctly answer a skill testing question to be eligible for weekly and grand prize draws.
To enter week 1: entrants must enter between noon EDT, June 12, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, June 18, 2000.
To enter week 2: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, June 19, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, June 25, 2000.
To enter week 3: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, June 26, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, July 2, 2000.
To enter week 4: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, July 3, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, July 9, 2000.
To enter week 5: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, July 10, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, July 16, 2000.
To enter week 6: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, July 17, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, July 23, 2000.
To enter week 7: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, July 24, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, July 30, 2000.
To enter week 8: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, July 31, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, August 6, 2000.
To enter week 9: entrants must enter between 12:00 am EDT, August 7, 2000 to 11:59 p.m. EDT, August 13, 2000.
4. Entrants can receive one bonus entry per week by forwarding the contest entry page URL to up to three friends through the official entry form. The original entrant receives one bonus entry for the grand prize to a maximum of nine (9) bonus entries.
PRIZES AND WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Prizes must be accepted as described with no cash or product substitutes.
5. Each potential winner will be contacted by E-mail and will be posted on globeinvestor.com within one hour of the draw. They will be given a skill testing question which they must successfully answer before being awarded the prize.
6. The potential winner has 24 hours to respond, failing which another entrant will be drawn and this process will be repeated until a winner is found. Any potential winner whose message is not received by globeinvestor.com within the 24 hours shall be considered to have not responded.
7. Weekly prizes:
Winners will be chosen by random draw each Monday at noon (EDT) for the duration of the contest (June 19, 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and August 7 and 14, 2000)
For weeks 1, 2, 3, 4 one (1) winner will be chosen by random draw to receive one (1) golf bag from Nevada Bob's. Retail Value $240.
For weeks 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, one (1) winner will be chosen by random draw to receive a golf package including:

Names of all winners will be posted on globeinvestor.com within 48 hours of each draw.
All eligible entries from week 1 through to week 9 will be re-entered for the grand prize along with all eligible bonus entries.
8. Grand Prize:
The prize consists of a trip for two, travelling together, to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, departing with a Saturday night stay over from the winner's preferred departure location, chosen from the following cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and St. John's.
The prize includes and is limited to
- a) return economy airfare for people living outside of Toronto between Toronto and one of: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Montreal, Halifax and St. John's.
- b) accommodation in a standard room at the Marriott Hotel in Toronto from September 5-10, 2000;
- c) two tickets to attend the Bell Canadian Open, from September 5-10, 2000
- d) $1,000 Canadian in spending money from Rogaine
- e) a Pro-Am spot to play at the Bell Canadian Open Pro-Am on September 4, 2000.
The prize does not include:
- a) expenses incurred while staying at the Marriott Hotel in Toronto including meals or any alcoholic beverages, laundry expenses, gratuities or extra activities;
- b) any other expense associated with taking part in the program, including travel and medical insurance and any health documents required by law, special clothing and any other items of a personal nature, and any other expenses not specifically stated as include in the prize.
- c) transportation from the Marriott Hotel to the Bell Canadian Open any day at any time. Prize must be accepted as awarded and no refunds or credits will be extended for any unused portions of the program. Should the winner wish to upgrade or change any component of the prize, he or she can do so based on space availability and by paying upgrade and change prices established by the participating airline and the Marriott Hotel. The flight dates, hotel accommodation, Bell Canadian Open tickets, spots to play in the Pro-Am and spending dollar amount are subject to change without notice or compensation. The prize has no cash value. The total retail value of the prize is approximately $5,000.
Upon contact of the winner, the winner will be required to sign a letter of acceptance. In signing this letter, the person travelling indicates acceptance of these Rules and Regulations. globeinvestor.com and prize providers will obtain necessary personal details such as names, addresses and phone number and build their reservations. The winner and traveling companion are responsible for all costs relating to their transportation to and from the points of departure and arrival (Vancouver International Airport, Calgary International Airport, Edmonton International Airport, Regina Airport, Winnipeg International Airport, Toronto International Airport, Montreal Dorval Airport, Halifax International Airport and St. John's Airport)
Only the prize of playing with a pro at the Pro-Am can be transferred once and only once by the winner to an immediate family member (or travelling partner) (sibling, parent, grandparent or offspring) who is a golfer and will be able to play in the Pro-Am. To do so, globeinvestor.com must receive instructions in writing upon signing the letter of acceptance by the winner and the person to who the prize is transferred. In signing this letter, the person travelling indicates acceptance of the following Rules and Regulations.
No changes to the reservation are allowed after August 25, 2000. Any portion of the prize that remains unused after February 27, 2001 becomes the property of globeinvestor.com. Except where otherwise specified in this Official Rules and Regulations, the reservation will be regulated by the terms and conditions for each respective component of the prize, including participating airlines, the Marriott Hotel, official cash sponsor, Rogaine, and globeinvestor.com.
The Globe and Mail, participating airline, the Marriott Hotel, official cash sponsor, Rogaine, and their affiliated or associated operators and all other related persons shall not be held responsible for any damages, including damages resulting from illness, personal injury, death or damage to or loss of property, which may be sustained as a direct or indirect result of any person's participating in any manner in the air flight and hotel stay or any events throughout the trip, irrespective of whether or not such damages may be attributed to any act or omission of any of the above mentioned organizations, to any act or omission of any person other than the above organizations or to any other event or occurrence whatever. Each participant shall be deemed to agree to the above exclusion for damages and to acknowledge the potential hazards of an air flight or hotel stay and all events within this trip upon booking. Passengers will be issued flight tickets and a certificate for hotel accommodation. The winner must read and accept all rules and regulations attached to these items. In accepting these rules, passengers agree to be bound by all terms and conditions.
Grand prize draw - On August 14, 2000 at 9 a.m. (EDT), one (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw among ALL eligible entries.
9. The globeandmail.com Web Centre is not responsible for the content or accuracy of online data or communication transmission, equipment failure, or other electronic problems.
10. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible online entries received for this draw.
11. All decisions of the globeandmail.com Web Centre regarding this contest and the selection of winners are final.

15. By entering this contest all entrants agree to the use of their name, answers, address and/or photo for promotional purposes.
16. With respect to Quebec residents and to entries originating within the Province of Quebec, any litigation respecting the conduct and awarding of the prize(s) in this contest may be submitted to the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.
17. Where applicable, this online contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
ELIGIBILITY
18. Employees of Thomson Canada Limited and all of its affiliates, Nevada Bobs, participating airline, The Marriott Hotel, Rogaine, and their suppliers and members of their immediate families or people domiciled with them are not eligible to participate.
You must be a legal resident of Canada and be at least 18 years of age as of June 12, 2000.
